Sometimes when things seem to be falling apart
they may actually be falling into place.
I believe our lives have seasons – just as the world around us has seasons. Those times when we are called to take a different path. Ones we weren’t expecting or anticipating. The call to look a little harder, listen more closely, reach higher, and dare our faith. Trust plays such a big part when we’re asked to take on the unexpected, unanticipated challenges.
Seems God has been seeking a lot from me lately. And for whatever reason I feel no reluctance to respond. I feel comfortable in His promise that He will never leave me alone. Besides, why would he call me to action and then abandon me to fail? I rest in the promise of His word and relax in faith.
Restoring Hope Network is well on its way. We hope to have a Facebook page soon, just working out logo details. The Douglas Fund is getting started. The emergency shelter continues to be researched and developed. Youth for Christ is going like gang busters…no pun intended. And The Glory of Hope and The Faith Garden continue to spread hope of our vision…
“The acceptance of oneself as worthy to have life full of joy and peace and released from fear.”
So to all out there reading this blog post I leave with you the Word of God through Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plan I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Peace and prosperity to all!
